Siesta 45A weapon in a contract with Beatrice.
45 has a very methodical and timid personality, and her persecution complex is somewhat strong. This makes her compensate well for the weakness of 410's rough personality when they work as a pair.
Since she cannot stand silence, she sometimes becomes emotionally insecure if she isn't always being ordered by someone.
45 has excellent capabilities in searching for the enemy and deciding orders. The sisters' battle power is multiplied by her support.

In the mansion, Rudolf and Kyrie are murdered again and again.
There's nobody left to tell Beatrice what to do.

Eva often thought about cutting open her stuffed animals as a child, to see what was inside. The only thing that stopped her was the notion that, if she did so, she would never again be able to play with them.

But now that she's an Endless Witch, she could just revive them. There's no reason for her to hold back on any sort of cruelty anymore.

The endless torture is interrupted by someone who at least
used to mean something to her.
Hideyoshi was trapped in the mansion when EVA-Beatrice sealed it, so he doesn't have anywhere to hide, anyway.

Nobody but the Golden Witch is qualified to touch those ten tons of gold.

Of course, this isn't the Eva who loves Hideyoshi. This is a younger, crueler version of her.
It's not Ushiromiya Eva. It's Beatrice, the Golden Witch, and she can do anything she wants, without hesitation or guilt!
BGM: Worldend Solo
Hideyoshi weeps as he admonishes Eva - or possibly Beatrice - again and again.

Using magic to pick up a discarded gun is child's play for a Golden Witch.

Hideyoshi stares down Beatrice as he dies.
She doesn't notice that he's died - with his eyes still open - until #410 speaks, asking if she's going to add another plaything to her murder festival.

However, it seems that she's lost her enthusiasm now.
Play time is over. EVA-Beatrice orders Ronove to clean up and prepare everything for the fourth, fifth and sixth twilights.

Lucifer feels the sting of being forced to gouge someone else's kill, rather than gouging as part of her own hunt.
Of course, after the failures of Belphegor and Leviathan, the
Seven Five Stakes of Purgatory can't complain.

Back in the guest house, Eva awakens from a nightmare.
Hideyoshi is no longer holding her hand.
october 5th, 1986, 1:30 PM
10 hours, 30 minutes remain
The survivors must prepare themselves for the possibility that Rudolf, Kyrie and Hideyoshi aren't going to come back.
Without them, only seven remain - Krauss, Natsuhi, Eva, Nanjo, Battler, George and Jessica.

The feverish Eva returns, babbling deliriously.
Natsuhi assures her that they're fine - they just went outside for a bit.

Eva knows, though. She's been able to feel the witch inside her, so she knows how much danger they're in.

As her panic continues, the kids and Nanjo peek in from upstairs. Everyone is gathered now.

Nanjo urges caution, but Eva insists that Hideyoshi's life is on the line, so it's out of the question.

George volunteers to go with Eva. Battler seconds.
Jessica wants to go too, but Natsuhi refuses to allow it. Krauss's family will stay in the guest house, while Eva, Nanjo, George and Battler go to the mansion.
Purgatorio

Yes. The demon stakes were buried into them, one in Rudolf's head, one in Hideyoshi's chest, and one in Kyrie's stomach. The clothing of all three was disordered, as because of this, it is thought that they had been fighting or running away. Since the three corpses were not found right next to each other, it is hypothesized that after coming into contact with the culprit, they attempted some form of resistance.

...With stakes in the forehead, chest, and stomach. Horrible, just like usual...

Ronove ultimately decides against saying anything about EVA-Beatrice's treatment of the three victims.

Hey, can't you hear me? Please, declare it in red. Repeat it: 'Rudolf, Kyrie, and Hideyoshi are dead'.

...My apologies. Allow me to decline from repeating that.

What's that? That's so sudden, what are you planning?

My apologies. Someone speaking in Milady's place such as myself must relinquish his turn at this point... accordingly,
I cannot repeat that in red. The only one qualified to repeat that... is Milady.

That's correct. Ronove is but an agent for Beato's side. If Ronove steps down from the position of agent, and Battler will not accept Beato as an opponent, a new agent must be created.

There is no new agent. Please, Battler, please accept Milady as your game partner once more.

...Sorry, but that's advice I can't listen to. I definitely won't accept that unpleasant, cruel bastard as my opponent. I won't give up in this game because I don't accept her.

Regarding your point about her being unpleasant, I apologize in Milady's stead. Allow me to pledge that Milady will not take unpleasant actions again.

I wonder about that.

Battler. I also apologize as that child's teacher. She has listened well, so would you please forgive her just this once?

Hey, hey, quit it. You're making it sound like I'm the bad guy. And no matter how much you guys apologize, it won't reach my ears. If Beato can say that from her own mouth... well, it's not like I won't listen to her.

If that is your condition for accepting her again, then let us have her apologize. Ronove, call for that child. Is that all right, Battler?

Do whatever you want. Still, don't expect that I'll forgive her. Call for that irritating witch.

You have my thanks, Battler. I will now call her. Milady, Battler is calling for you.

...Did you call, Ronove?

I believe you heard. Is there something you have to say, from your own mouth?

...

...

Rokkenjima
Meanwhile, the game board continues to advance. The bodies have been found.
Nanjo says they probably died instantly.

Battler lost both parents, but he still thinks that George's burden is heavier.
After all, George lost Shannon.

George has been putting on a strong face, but he can only keep it up for so long...
PurgatorioBGM: Melting Away

Of course, you can't calculate it just like that. We humans aren't like you witches. From the time we're alive to the moment we die, we live in that limited period with all our strength. I can't forgive anyone who makes light of that. Furthermore, I definitely can't forgive anyone who sneers at people and toys with them. A person like you, whose very concept of death is all screwed up, can't understand that.

It isn't just the time we would live afterwards. Sneering at people living with all their strength... that's what I can't forgive the most. George lived his life by recklessly doing his best. He must have shown up today heroically prepared to marry Shannon. It's completely different from me, since I was happy just to be able to meet my cousins after a while.

B-But still--

Beato. For now, stay silent and listen.

H-Hmm...

In a way, I understand your excuse. You say that you need to continue murdering according to the epitaph for your own resurrection. So, judging by the circumstances of your position, I can just barely understand your murders. To you, it's a necessary action. All further unnecessary actions are because of your meaningless brutal hobby.

In other words, if killing the six people for the first twilight was a necessary action for you, then all that show of crushing their faces and splitting their stomachs and stuffing them full of sweets was completely unnecessary, and just your hobby. I definitely can't forgive this aspect of you.

...Hmm...

When you repeatedly killed Rosa in that horrible way, I heard you were saying something like 'in the end, I'll bring them back to life, so it doesn't matter how I kill them, right?' I heard it from Virgilia.

...Well, that... well, umm...

The idea that you can kill them as many times as you want, as long as you bring them back to life in the end, is a completely unnecessary action of toying with a life, right? If you're going to kill, do it instantly! Don't toy with them! If you won't kill them, then don't tease them! You're taking advantage of the fact that you can do as you will with people's lives, and you've forgotten the sanctity of life! That's why I can't accept you! I can't accept as my opponent a person who doesn't know the weight of a life, and the sadness when that life is lost!

For that reason, Endless Witches sometimes start playing by jumping over the gap between life and death like it's a game. That is a very frightening thing. So, as an Endless Witch, and out of my own desire,
I never reached your level.
...I have been told not to break vases, but that's why I wanted to break them... Then I gained the Endless Magic. WHen I knew that I could fix it back to normal no matter how badly I broke it, I was surprised at how fun it was to break a vase...

That is called the forbidden honey. People are not captivated by what's inside, they are captivated by the sealed lock. It truly is deplorable.

I want to ask you, Virgilia. Why does this thing called the Endless Magic exist? What purpose does it serve in this world?

All magic exists to bring happiness to the human world. After everything that has happened, it may be difficult for you to believe, but in order to bring blessings to the human world, we witches are supposed to become a bridge between humans and those who are not humans, and those who are not human, and continue to study.

How does reviving the dead and torturing them to death over and over help the human world?

When a vase is broken, if fixing it would make everyone smile, I would repair it with magic as many tims as necessary. However, I would not be fixing it in order to break it again. I would be reviving it to give humans happiness.

In that case... Beato, you fail as an Endless Witch.

...Hmm...

By now I have, at times, vaguely thought about something. Why do I keep going on with this strange game against you? This isn't a game to make me surrender. Could it be a test for you to be accepted as an Endless Witch?

...I... I don't know about that. The reason I proposed this game to you was, um... simply as a way to kill time... No one was anticipating it.

Just now, I heard the definition of a witch from Virgilia. By that definition, you, Beato, are not even a witch. You'd be an apprentice who's in the middle of her training, and misunderstands her own power. This was supposedly a fight between a witch and a human. In that case, someone like you, who isn't a witch, isn't qualified to be my opponent. Understand?

You say... I am still... only an apprentice... then when will I be accepted as your opponent once again? When can we resume this game?

Who knows? At the least, it isn't now. When you fully understand what I've said, and become a real witch, I'll probably accept you as my opponent again.

I-I can't understand if you say it so abstractly like that... Clearly tell me what I should do to earn your forgiveness...

No, I've said enough. You think about the rest. If you can't understand it, try talking with Virgilia and Ronove. A brat like you should start off by listening to what the adults say.

Understood. Until Beato has been accepted as having gained those qualifications, the game will proceed without an opponent. Is that all right with you, Beato?

I... I have no objections. I want time, and a place where I can think at a leisurely pace. May I leave my seat for that?

Yeah, that's fine.

...Well, then, see you later.

Wait. Don't make that dejected face.

...Sorry about that. Letting everything inside my heart show up on my face is part of my personality. I cannot deceive.

In that case, there's still room for improvement. Let me promise one thing: In this game with you, I might win, and I might lose. If you don't come back, it'll probably be a victory by default for me.

Battler...

...Thank you, Battler. I will definitely come back and be accepted by you.
