When last we left off, we were about to start moving in towards the boss's lair!
Moving inwards is difficult when faced with this much danmaku!
The last two Grimoires fall quickly! All that remains is the bosses.
Koakuma gives a proper introduction this time! Her job is acting as Patchouli's assistant.
Koakuma's danmaku have some heft to them! Let's kick her ass.

FORGIVE ME LADY PATCHOULIIIIII
Now, we take out the head honcho!
The fight is on! Alice proudly declares that Patchouli will be unable to escape her dolls with that weak-ass body.
Patchouli starts the battle out with her signature non-directional laser that Marisa steals in later games!
While we're having fun, let's bust out some FAVORITE BONUS ABILITIES
Alice summons a Hourai Doll! It is astoundingly weak.
ASTOUNDINGLY weak.
It got one hit in.
LET'S BUST OUT ALICE'S NEW ATTACK

Patchouli decides that, admittedly, she can't stop us without putting some back into it.
Water Sign - Princess Undine
Aside from being fucking ridiculously dense, Princess Undine doesn't have any special characteristics! However, there's another problem: Patchouli is still carrying a spell card.
In other words, this isn't her last lifebar.
Invincible: The best spirit ability ever.
Anyway, let's take the fight to her! We can't be stopped by something this half-assed!
Rumia is really earning her keep in this fight - only Patchouli's weakest attack can hit at point blank range.
Even her weakest attack is nothing to sneeze at!
Nitori takes out form 2!
AND NOW THE GRAND FINALE
Patchouli, the master of the seven elements, won't be defeated this easily! Time to start mixing and matching.
Wood & Fire Sign - Forest Blaze increases graze damage inflicted by 20%. Considering how powerful her fields are, fast mode isn't a choice, either!
SO WE WILL CRACK IT OPEN WITH OUR BOMB

NOW TO MAKE HER TALK except we already did the making part, so it's time to have a chat like adults.

Patchouli seems surprisingly cooperative for someone who lost! That's because, as she puts it, she doesn't care about the incident, as long as she gets to develop new magic. As Nitori puts it, she doesn't have a head for anything but magic.
Reimu asks if the magic that lured them to the library was her work, too. It wasn't! No, that was the work of someone who can manipulate time and space...
And then, the party is told of the mistress of this mansion. Remilia Scarlet, a noble vampire that has lived for many centuries.
Marisa and Rumia talk casually about the wide variety of weaknesses that vampires have, but Keine knows how terrible of an enemy they have waiting for them. Wings faster than the wind. Strength greater than the mountains. Exceling in both physical and magical power, the true lords of the night.
Anyway, Patchouli has no qualms with giving us directions to the heart of the mansion. Let's go!
In all likelihood, the next one to come forward in this unfolding battle will be...
