Let's Play Fate/Stay Night

Saber

This is Fate/Stay Night's status screen! It is where the game pretends to have a defined sets of tabletop-style rules, but actually doesn't. Displayed here is Saber's stats.
Despite all the boasting I've done about Saber's top-tieritude, her stat block is actually quite unimpressive. Her riding ability is pointless, but her other ability - Magic Resistance - is what makes her really awesome. That and being just a really badass young lady.

With Rin gone, Shirou decides to take it easy while his organs rebuild. Give the guy a break! He almost died three times today.
It's around now that Shirou remembers that he's neglecting the rest of his harem! It's time to play Find the Saber.

Approximately forever later, we find her at the Dojo! Not a big surprise. Shirou gawks for a bit, maybe drools a little, then remembers how talking works.

Right off the bat, Saber lays down the ground rule: No heroic sacrificing for her sake. Technically it dodged me a bad end, but it was a pretty dumb plan!
Surely Shirou can understand this, yes?

CAN'T
FIGHT,
SABER
Next up, Shirou checks to make sure that Saber's okay with having a massive lameface for a Master.

This, however, leads into Ground Rule No. 2: No losing allowed.
Man, she's gonna be in for some disappointment. 38 Bad Ends to go!
Talk continues on various subjects...

All right, I just gotta know.
>Which heroine is Saber?
Is she Juliet? I bet she's Juliet. The sexy Zorro homage version from RxJ.

Yeah, totally Zorro Juliet. Or maybe Princess Mononoke.
Whatever, we don't get to find out. Not this early.
Now, without any further ado, it looks like this day has come to a

Okay what are you doing here.

Looks like Tohsaka's here for two reasons!
1) To make Shirou uncomfortable.
2) To move in.
Shirou's Girls Living In His House count is now up to four!
Now, it's possible that Shirou could possibly stand up to Rin OR Saber...

...but against a united front, he has nowhere to stand.

Eventually, Shirou manages to get Saber to at least agree to not sleep in his bedroom, and we go off to find bedrooms for everyone.

Time for SECRET TALKING
What's she got that's so important to talk about?

Due to Shirou's total fuckup of summoning Saber, there's no fuel line connecting them! And since we're not sending Saber to eat people, she has no source of mana income. When it runs out, she'll disappear. Looks like we're in for a minimum percentage run!
The solution we come up with is that Saber will sleep a lot. That's... well, it's a stupid solution, but it's all I've got.

How bad can they be!
Ha ha h-ha ha ha.
Anyway Saber has to catch up on her Aliveness Sleep. Shirou sweats about all the hot girls living in his house. To dinner!

It should be mentioned in here somewhere that Nasu has another raging fetish, beyond Japanese Teenagers and beyond Exposition.
That is Meal Preparation.

Every time dinner rolls around, there's scenes like this. They go on in loving detail. It's bizarre.

MORE EXPOSITION it will never end.
-Ilyasviel is from a super famous magus family.
-Archer's still wounded from Saber, and Saber's still wounded from Lancer.
-Yada yada yada.

Troll troll troll.
Anyway, the plan is to identify the other Masters. Shirou sucks at detecting magic and Saber can only sense other Servants within a 200m radius, so it's gonna be Detectiver Work.
That's enough of that, dinner over. Time to go talk to Saber one last time before ending this endless day.

She doesn't, of course. And I don't know who she is, so conversation kinda stops cold.
Time for her to ask: Why did I try to stop Berserker? After much internal hee-hawing about how he was blinded by Sabery science, Shirou decides that this would be a good time to lie!

Anyway we're done with this conversation so
TO BED

GOD DAMN IT
YOU'RE BUSTING MY BALLS HERE SHIROU
Oh well. To the magic shed!

Shirou's source of focus is, of course, having wet dreams about awesome swords. That Strengthening spell did pretty good last time, so we'd better work on it!
And so Shirou practices magic far into the night, this day ENDS, and tomorrow hopefully something more interesting will happen.
