Kohaku's a support fighter with no especially high stats! Her only saving graces are her healing/buff abilities and her skill Lucky, which increases the BP she earns from all kills by 20%.

Today's upgrades: +5 Quick for Tohsaka, +6 Quick for Haruna, +75 Tough and +21 EN for Saber. Phantasmoon didn't come with us.



And here we are, at a spooky abandoned factory!

Hisui is here, as is Caster. Some kind of magic is at work...



Kohaku takes a moment before we head any deeper in to thank us for our help! It's cool, we're here for our own reasons. Except Haruna, who's just nice.



Introductions are shared, and Rin sympathizes with Saber for getting ANOTHER Master who doesn't know the first thing about the Grail War.

But someone has appeared at the factory entrance...

Chapter 5: Fight at the Abandoned Factory Part 1

I'm sorry. The kidnapping, I was just doing what I was told...


Then I demand to see who gave your orders.

Further discussion seems meaningless.


Then we have no choice. We're taking her by force!

Satsuki Yumizuka
Tsukihime
Species: Vampire
Background: Satsuki is a friend, classmate and admirer of Shiki Tohno. She was turned into a vampire by Roa.



No fancy tricks here! Satsuki has a pile of generic mooks, most of which we've seen before.



Haruna's speedy enough that she can fairly reliably dodge attacks, although she does need to use Focus to make it a guarantee.



Well look who it is!


I could ask you the same thing, Takumi! I'm helping Kohaku-san.


Kohaku? Even you're here?


Akiha-sama, Shiki-san too. Umm... I...


Kohaku-san, did you come here chasing after Hisui?


Ah, yes. that's right.


But, she doesn't appear to be here, either...

Our top priority is recovering Hisui.

Kohaku, you are to fall back!

Youkai and Dead Apostles together, huh...

Let's get this battle going again!



Shiki Tohno
Tsukihime
Species: Human
Background: After an accident in his youth, Shiki gained the ability to see the lines of death - lines that he can cut across to break apart any object (or person). The magus Aoko taught him never to use this ability and gave him glasses tht suppressed the lines.
Shiki lived with a distant branch of his family, but was called back by Akiha. Living with the Tohno family, he learned that he isn't actually a Tohno himself - he is from the Nanaya line of demon-slaying assassins. His bloodline and his abilities led to him being drawn into strife between many extremely powerful beings lurking in his home city.





Fighting with a knife, Shiki is a fragile melee speedster with high damage output. He'll be quite useful later.



Akiha Tohno
Tsukihime
Species: Human
Background: Childhood friend and adoptive younger sister of Shiki, Akiha is the true head of the Tohno family. She has demon blood, and struggles to resist giving in to the murderous urges it gives her. She was ultimately turned into a mindless blood-sucking monster by a being named SHIKI (Not to be confused with Shiki), but Shiki was able to restore her sanity, and she now lives normally, quelling her bloodthirsty impulse by drinking blood transfusion packs.





Akiha is another artillery caster, but she's a bit more limited in use due to not having Hit & Away. I'll have to fix that. And yes, she fights by shooting her hair at people like a tentacle monster.



Takumi still does about what he did before!





Something important to remember about Shiki is that the AI loves attacking Shiki.



After getting dropped to pretty low HP during the enemy turn, a Trust and a Cure from Kohaku, followed by Focus get Shiki back in the fight.



But the true shape of Shiki's power isn't the lines of death...



...it's the points where the lines meet!



This is the new mook for this map, by the way. It's Getter 3.





Satsuki charges, flailing her punchy arm like a lunatic!

She misses, and crashes into a wall instead.



Takumi VS the Raikiri!

He won't be able to handle this one alone.



Once she hits 130 Will, Haruna's Flight ability allows her to ignore height! Useful for mopping up these last mooks.

Although the last hit goes to...



Tohsaka!









That bird never knew what hit it.



And down goes the Raikiri!

It retreats again.





This just leaves Satsuki to be eliminated!



Shiki finishes the job, but then...


You! You're...




That's what I'd like to say, but I can't let you kill this girl just yet.

Well then, have fun. She's coming with me.

Hisui's inside. Try not to get killed by anybody but me.

Battle Mastery achieved!



Nanaya and Satsuki are gone!

Shiki swears he won't lose to his other self this time, either.



Akiha, meanwhile, is mad at her maid for letting Hisui get kidnapped to easily. There will be a reckoning...



Haruna used to be classmates with Akiha! She reminisces about how she's always been pretty power crazy.

Takumi compares her to Haruna, as they're both power idiots.



Rin observes a pattern!

We've been fighting many extremely dangerous enemies - they could have easily defeated us by now, but instead, they keep retreating, luring us forwards.

In other words, this is a trap.
