Len is a very powerful support unit, mainly due to her reduced Spirit costs, SP Regen, and Trust. Her debuffs (Accuracy or Defense) are decent, but too short range.

Upgrades: +195 HP and +6 Quick for Shiki, +100 weapon power for Phantasmoon, SP Regen for Saber. Onwards!



On the way over, we bonder what Nrvnqsr is doing at that hotel! There are various reasons it makes sense.



Once we arrive, Phantasmoon and Akiha set aside some time for passive-aggressive sniping at each other.

There will be time for this later! Stagnation, evil vampires.

Chapter 13: Showdown! Nrvnqsr Chaos!

I've got a key set of characters I can't allow to go down. Beyond that, gotta beat up Nrvnqsr.



Getting there will be the first challenge, though - 7 mooks and 13 chaos beasts add up to 20 enemies between me and him.

It's time to go to town.



First wave: No problem!



By exploiting gaps in attack ranges, even the maids can safely go on the offensive under the right circumstances.



In short, wave 1 goes down without any trouble.

Now for the chaos beasts!



SHOOTING DEER



Now that the first wave is toast, these guys have the courtesy to descend upon me like a tidal wave of evil animals.



Akiha and Rin continue to play Tsundere Tag Team together as the tanks advance to protect the artillery and support!



This is a much tougher wave to hack through - the chaos beasts are twice as numerous, and a lot harder to kill.



Oh crap he saw us.

FIGHT FASTER.



Pretty soon, we have the last of the shadow beasts wiped out.

Next target: Nrvnqsr!



The less agile characters can't jump up to Nrvnqsr's platform, and have to run around the edges. This slows us down a bit, working to his benefit.





The clash of titans begins!

All things considered, that 25,000 HP doesn't last very long.

Getting into melee range of Nrvnqsr: Now very dangerous.



Takumi has gained a new Spirit by the name of Resist - it makes the next attack that hits him only do 10 damage. Handy!



His range has increased now, too, rendering even Len vulnerable to what used to be a short-range attack.



It's slow going, but I just have to keep up the attack!



Block and evade his ludicrously overpowered counters!

At close range, he can kill most of my realtypes in a single hit.

He regenerates 5000 HP every turn, by the way.



As the battle draws to a climax, Nrvnqsr actually runs completely out of EN, rendering him helpless!

For defeating Nrvnqsr, I get the Card of the Casters!

There's one of these for every Servant - they're all high-end items that are very useful on the right people.

But we're still in Nrvnqsr's Reality Marble, so I can't bring out my Marble Phantasm.

Even if I could use it, though, I don't think the chaos could be contained.

Impossible. With the chaos like that, you would be swallowed before you made it to his center point.

This guy collected the stagnation at the hotel today and then, using his own chaos...

The day is saved! Nrvnqsr has been destroyed.

Kohaku didn't realize it at the time, but she used one of her three Command Spells to augment Saber's attack.



Kohaku somehow manages to not know what Excalibur is, or that it means that Saber is, in fact, King Arthur.



But there's still more work to be done in this city.

Roa's last incarnation, SHIKI Tohno, has reappeared, and with a Servant of his own.



Haruna and Takumi are conceding that things are starting to get out of hand, and they need backup!

If Natsuki was here, Haruna might be able to use her full power...



Since the hotel Rin was staying at was just annihilated, she's going to be joining the rest of us back at the mansion.

Time to take a break! Next time, a new arc begins.
