Caren is probably my favorite support unit in the game. She's sturdy, she can give people Luck (double BP in next battle), and she has a shitload of SP.

Upgrades: +7 Quick for Haruna, +225 HP for Shirou, +42 EN and the Revenge skill (+20% damage on counterattacks) for Lancer. Onwards!



Akiha is furious!

All personal grudges aside, though, SHIKI is someone who needs to be brought down.



However, we don't have any guarantee that we can find him on our own terms.



Fortunately for us, SHIKI can't go for 20 seconds without doing something evil! TO THE PARK

Chapter 19: That Man... A Monster and Demon

SHIKI!!


Ah, Akiha. I knew that you'd finally notice that I was waiting for you.

I only need to kill SHIKI, but if I want the Battle Mastery, I need to kill everyone!

Which is what I was planning anyway.



Bosses are, as usual, Rider and SHIKI. They will continue to be the bosses until this arc is over, which should be soon.

If I were on the Takumi route, I'd be fighting Archer and Roa instead.



Mook destroy mode go!



My main frontline power for this map is Lancer and Haruna, and my main rear guard is the artillery magus trio.



It's turn four, and you may notice that some of these guys haven't even moved - enemies 'wake up' in waves so that you don't have to fight them all at once.



The long-range half of my force deals with those birds balancing on top of treetops! Shortly, the mooks are wiped out.



And then, onto the bosses!



Of the two, SHIKI is much more dangerous - double Rider's HP, and dodges just as well. He's also the one we have to kill to win the map.



Sakura gets the finishing blow on Rider! And gains two levels.



Lancer and Haruna do most of the heavy lifting on SHIKI himself. Before long...



MAP CLEAR
Battle Mastery achieved!



SHIKI and Rider withdraw! We've got them on the run.



When Haruna is telling you to slow down and think things through, you've officially lost it.
