While searching in the wreckage of Hotel Schwein for Satsuki, Sion encounters a magical girl!
It sounds like both of them are here because of the Tatari's presence. Len's here, too.
And so is Satsuki! Phantasmoon was carrying her around like a sack of potatoes.
When Satsuki regains consciousness, Sion gives her artificial blood engineered to fight back on vampiric bloodlust.
Satsuki doesn't remember any of the time she spent in berserk mode. She doesn't remember Nanaya sending her and Shiki off the edge of the bridge, either.
Story swapping time.
No time for talk. Something's appearing!
Chapter 25: The Back Alley Alliance

Really now. There are plenty of remnants of Nrvnqsr Chaos here. Thus, my form has become his.
Tatari, no matter what form you take, I'll defeat you.
First Nrvnqsr, then Roa. You shouldn't have come onto my turf.
Give me a break, killing you all is a hassle!

Okay. An ally's ally is my ally.
Well, if we're done fooling around, let's show them what real vampires can do!!
Kill the boss! No casualties!
This is why Shiki had to target Satsuki before! She's actually a secret character.
She can only be recruited if Shiki defeats Satsuki every time you fight her.
Satsuki is a sturdy melee tank, incapable of hitting anything over 3 spaces away.
Crafty jerks that they are, the enemies immediately descend upon the fragile Len.
Without some SERIOUS upgrades, Len isn't really good for anything more than Spirit abilities. Time to cower in the corner!
You may notice that a lot of the mooks in Act 3 are based on characters from Read Or Die.
Since most of the enemies are lined up for defensive support, our best chance to do some serious damage is the enemy turn. Counter counter counter!
That's the last of the lower-level mooks! Time to ASCEND.
For most people, this climb is something of an ordeal, but Phantasmoon has a Jump of 8!
Once she's up there, it's time to resume Phantasmoon's favorite passtime:
KICKING NRVNQSR IN THE FACE.
A steady supply of Trust from below is necessary to keep Phantasmoon in fighting shape up here!
Backup is on the way! The slow, slow way.
With 2 turns to spare, that battle mastery is looking pretty unlikely around now.
But by god, I'm going to try!
Sion! Show that mook who's boss!
Yeah, he's not coming back.
And down goes Nrvnqsr! Again!
And it turns out that was all we needed.
sI might get hurt if I play with you much more.

Battle Mastery achieved!
The Tatari is strong here. Sion might succumb to what Satsuki was affected by when Roa was alive.
She gives Phantasmoon full permission to kill her in case that happens.
It seems that Satsuki can somehow understand Len!
I think it's sort of a Lassie situation.
Sion is going to keep hunting the Tatari!
Satsuki and Phantasmoon are tagging along. To be continued!
