FATE/VALOR 2?!?!?!

Greetings, net denizens! The title is no lie - I am considering reviving Fate/Valor, learning from the mistakes of the past to make a wonderful new adventure. This post is to gauge interest and lay out the framework.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

• Fate/Valor is a DW+AIM-based private RP about an AU of the Grail War, with all new Servants, Masters, and setting details. The previous one ran for about a third of the length of its story before dying due to slow pace.


• Much of the action for the new F/V will be done over AIM or IRC, to make the game go faster than its last iteration. As the GM and NPC-runner, I'm available most weekends and all weekdays after 5:30 Pacific time. If you will rarely be available for ~2 hour chunks of time to participate in battle lots during these times, this may not be for you.


• Look here for information on the setting, especially if you are unfamiliar with Fate/Stay Night.


• Each player can play up to one Servant and one Master. Preferably not part of the same pair.


• There are fourteen Servant classes instead of the nine that appear in canon. Information on the new classes (Brawler, Soldier, Scholar, General, Creator) is available in the above post.


• The setting for the new Fate/Valor will be an unnamed city on the east coast of America, in the year 1930. Prohibition is in full effect, World War I is called the Great War, and Flappers are in style.


• Unlike the previous Fate/Valor, there will be no encouragement for the players to all end up in an alliance. Everyone is free to take different sides, fight each other, and even get killed dramatically.

I'm definitely interested in playing. Commander sounds like a lot of fun, but I might be better at playing a Master over a Servant. So if someone wants a T-M nerd to play their character's Master, let me know. I have no idea what character I'd bring in yet or if this is all OC based.. B)

I'm all for playing a Master and a Servant, since this is just a tiny private thing. I'm cool with any of the classes except Berserker though I honestly have no ideas as of right now. I'll probably brainstorm once we start claiming Servants.

Hannibal Barca in whatever class I can cram his ass into, preferably Rider or General? Mostly because I want to use nobelephantasm as a username. If anybody has better ideas for those classes I can probably come up with something else, though.

I haven't got any good Master ideas, but I'll ruminate upon the setting and see what I come up with.
