Chapter 4: Open Sesame

Welcome back! I'm in this courtyard again.

Now I can come back here, and turn the water on with this foot pedal!

I guess it's because I turned on the water in that other place.

God thing I got this flask earlier. I'm quite thirsty.

Also, I'll have you know, I'm quite accomplished as a spitter!

I can spit water right into these pipes.

By adding more water, I can change the tone that the lower pipes make.

If I make it match the pipes above...

Music was the answer!

Inside, there's some sort of strange box-man.

He wants to tell bad jokes, but I'm not interested.

Another disc!

And yet another.

Also, finally a place to put all these discs!

This is looking better already, if I do say so myself. Let's hear the story again.

Um, hello! Me Willie. Me Willie Trombone! These discs tell a story!

Story about good! Story about bad. These discs are all that are left of the true story. True story of the closing of the third age! Willie know that once you know this truth, then you know what to do! Listen! I tell you.

It all start with Hoborg! A being who had to create. Because...

He make a world full of beauty and wonder.
This world, the Neverhood, a world where he could live for ever and ever more!

Hoborg thought this world would make him happy!
But it make him sad.
Walking around his big beautiful new world make him feel all alone.

???: "Crown!"

HOBORG: "No! I mean... no, Klogg. This crown is the only thing you cannot have."

Sitting in the throneroom, Hoborg start thinking about who he make next.

HOBORG: "Huh? What? My... crown!"
