Cascade

[S] Cascade.

ANIMATION LOG:

As John initiates the Scratch, all the forces of the session come down on him.

But he is more than prepared for them.

In the Land of Frost and Frogs, Jack Noir, or possibly Becquerel, mourns the loss of a master and friend.

While a few minutes in the future, and in another session,

The same Jack prepares to do that which he was created to do.

The destruction of a universe.

Jack unleashes his strongest attack against Billious Slick, which is also the entire human universe.

And in the year 2422, the incoming annihilation is all too apparent.

Aimless Renegade and Peregrine Mendicant finish the preparations to destroy the vessels.

While at the same time, the former White Queen awaits the arrival of the fifth Exile.

The White King emerges from the time capsule.

But behind him, the capsule resets with 10 seconds remaining, prepared to release its final seed...

Back in the human session and the present, Jack takes Jade's dying body on a final journey.

This is the only way he knows to save her.

But he still has much work to do.

In his newly-restored fury against all of creation, Jack begins his plan.

This session will soon be scratched, so he escapes onto a meteor destined for Earth.

Hundreds of millions of years later,

He emerges into a dying universe.

Peregrine Mendicant is prepared to make a doomed stand...

But an explosion distracts him.

Aimless Renegade begins destroying the vessels.

If he succeeds, Jack will be trapped here as the universe dies.

But Wayward Vagabond is still trapped in the last vessel.

Aimless Renegade can't bring himself to kill his friend...

Dismissing PM as no danger, Jack enters the remaining Vessel. Looks like it's out of power.

But that could be fixed, if he had some uranium.

Jack uses the third room in WV's vessel to transport himself out of the dying universe, and into another session.

From there, he begins his slaughter of a session full of trolls.

Back in the Furthest Ring, Derse's moon approaches the coordinates of the Green Sun.

Dave has caught up with Rose. They're doing this together.

But there's a secret here that will ensure that this isn't the end for these heroes.

A pair of Quest Beds.

The Tumor is placed, and opens up.

Inside is a machine, counting down to destruction. Contained within it are two universes.

In one tube is our universe, already doomed by Jack Noir's fury.

In the other is the universe of the trolls, where Spades Slick, that is to say Jack's other self, faces off against his black lover for the last time.

Snowman insists that Jack fulfill his role,

So that she can fulfill hers.

Doc Scratch fulfills his final role, in a war of one bullet fired.

For just as Billious Slick was our universe,

Snowman's heart was theirs.

The annihilation of two universes will power the Tumor.

Scarce minutes remain until the end.

Meanwhile, in the Land of Frost and Frogs,

The power of Gods responds to a fallen hero's need.

And below, the Battlefield lies in ruins, during the final throes of the Reckoning.

Two lost sprites watch as the world ends.

All that is left for them is to await destruction.

But Jadesprite, prototyped with Jade's dream self, undergoes a transformation.

Jade ascends to God Tier.

With the powers of the Witch of Space, and still prototyped with the power of the First Guardian, Jade makes short work of the meteor that was about to destroy her.

She has much work to do, and little time to do it.

Her next task is to shrink down the Battlefield to a more portable size.

After all, she has a promise to keep.

Meanwhile, in Earth's future, a Peregrine Mendicant takes what few steps she can to try and help her impaled friend.

She sees his treasure, one of vital importance...

And as the final minute ticks by, Rose and Dave share an unspoken question:

Why isn't the Green Sun here?

Jade shrinks the battlefield and all four planets.

As per her agreement with Echidna, they're coming with her, as is John.

42 seconds remain.

Jade begins to draw a critical item from her sylladex.

37 seconds remain.

Two universes lie in the final throes of death, at the hands of two different Jacks.

Peregrine Mendicant puts on the Queen's Ring.

29 seconds remain.

Jade produces a Fourth Wall.

11 seconds remain.

Gamzee talks to his First Guardian, who tells him exactly what all sixteen players have been this whole time.

Scratch never lied.

He said that the course would lead Rose and Dave to the Green Sun's location, but never that it would be at the right time.

He said that the Green Sun was twice the size of a universe, but he didn't say why.

He said that the Tumor had enough power to destroy the Green Sun,
