Getting the Swift skill to make Tohsaka less of a slowpoke!
Other upgrades: +65 Tough for Akiha, +7 Quick and +26 EN for Haruna.
Onwards!
Look who's up and about! Both maids are at full capacity now.
There seem to be specific places around town where corruption is spreading from.
Haruna's off to Hotel Schwein next! The teams are a bit different now, though.
AND WE'RE OFF
Conversations happen, mostly about Haruna's nonexistent love life.
Apparently her powers have to be sealed because she can't control them at full blast. Because of the danger of an accident, she can't be with 'normal' people.
The seal can only be removed by Natsuki, the person who put it there in the first place. She didn't come along on this mission.
At the hotel proper, there is little time for conversation!
Chapter 9: From On High
Running into this guy was unlucky...
At least it's caught in the spot where it came down...

Haruna-sama, this is too much...
Th-That's right. Flying up so high while carrying two people...

We were checking up ahead for signs of the vampires and then saw something going on.
(More importantly... This time it looks like my bad luck is passing...
For now, let's take this guy down!

This is our boss for the day. Some kind of bird monster?
On small-party maps like this one, sometimes the power differential gets really apparent. Like here, where I'm sending Haruna to the left and everyone else to the right.
New enemies!
Yes, these things have Pepsi bottles for arms, and shoot beams of Pepsi from their backs. I... I don't know why.
And the spiders have an attack (strangely called Leg Bite) that shoots constricting webs, damaging and reducing the move speed of anyone they hit.
Not as useful as her twin, Hisui's specialty is debuffs - this attack reduced move speed, and she has a shorter-range one that reduces evasion.
Instead of healing, she has Reload, an ability that restores all EN and ammo, but reduces Will by 10.
Meanwhile, on the left side, Haruna dodges and counters everything into oblivion solo.
And at the same time! Hisui is mopping up the enemies on the right, while Tohsaka and Akiha offensive support each other relentlessly.
The first time I did this map, this Pepsi Monster somehow managed to kill two of my characters.
Not this time! Both Haruna and her trio of allies reach the boss's range at about the same time.
First, take out the rabbits...
...then take out the boss!
No real challenge to this guy.
MAP CLEAR
Battle Mastery achieved!
The monsters are cleared out for now, but we're no closer to finding the cause!
Tohsaka was apparently going to stay in this hotel, before finding out that it was infested by vampires. Akiha suggests she stay at the Tohno mansion instead.
Being the guardian of her own land back in Fuyuki, Tohsaka isn't planning on staying for too long, and the location here is convenient..
Ultimately, we compromise on letting her stay here, but we'll escort her when she comes and goes, just in case.
