Free Classes: Rider, Assassin, Avenger, Saver, General, Scholar, Creator
Offered, unassigned Masters:

-BF has three offers - a female jazz singer, an ex-soldier on disability leave, and a child street urchin!
-Dalten (is that what you go by?) is offering a down-on-his-luck businessman who's been hit hard by the Great Depression!
Offered, unassigned Servants:
-Chris is offering Joshua under the class of either Rider or General!
-Llama is offering one of the Night Witches as Rider!
-Dalten is tenatively offering Odysseus as Assassin or Archer!
Suggestions: Always welcome! One big thing I'm wondering is whether or not to name the town the game is set in, and if I do, whether or not to name it Derry.
Confirmed teams: You're awesome!
Unconfirmed teams: Figure out what's up!
Unassigned people: Talk to each other! Team up! Also, give your AIM contact information to me if I don't have it so that we can facilitate plotting better!
Anyone I forgot or who changes your mind: Let me know and I'll update the lists!

Charlie, no last name given, was orphaned at the age of 9 when his parents were brutally murdered in their own home while he hid under the bed. The official police report recorded the crime as a burglary gone wrong, despite the fact that Charlie's family was not particularly well-off, nor was anything taken. Charlie was deeply traumatized by the event, insisting upon the delusion that his parents were killed by "magic spells" that the attackers cast. As a result, Charlie spent the next few years being shuttled from foster care to foster care, until it became apparent that if he did not give up on his story, he would end up in an asylum. Fearing this outcome, Charlie did what any enterprising young lad in the 1940's would do and hit the road. Picking up skills and doing odd jobs, he's spent the last few years making it on his own.
Now 14, Charlie is a quick-witted and nimble boy who knows the streets of Highgate like the back of his hand. In addition to selling papers and begging for alms, Charlie has recently begun doing odd jobs for the local mob- passing on messages, acting as a lookout, and delivering payments, among other things. His big mouth has gotten him in trouble more than once, but Charlie's become adept at slipping away from the clutches of both Johnny Law and the less savory elements of the city. Despite his burgeoning career as a petty criminal, he tries to keep his head down as much as he can- less out of fear of the police and more out of fear that whoever killed his parents will come looking for him, too.
Unbeknownst to Charlie, his fears are more accurate than he thinks. His parents were in fact the latest in a line of a prominent magus family, with Charlie himself as its scion. The two were murdered by assassins at the behest of a rival family before they could tell Charlie about the truth of his talents. Now, with the next Holy Grail War on the horizon, those talents are about to manifest...

Liesel Schwarz, age 39, is a recent immigrant from Germany to the United States. Being from a Jewish family, the rise of the Nazi party led Liesel to flee the country while she could- this is, at any rate, the story she tells to anyone who asks. Whether she left any family or friends behind is unknown, as are most other things about her life.
An intensely private person, Liesel has nevertheless captivated Highgate audiences with her beautiful singing voice. While her speaking English is still in development, Liesel has taken a passion towards jazz and the blues, memorizing songs and performing in nightclubs across Highgate. She is considered to be something of a "rising star" and yet, much to the frustration of her would-be agents, appears to have no desire to leave Highgate and pursue her singing career further. Similarly, she has left a string of disappointed would-be suitors behind her, rejecting each one's advances in turn.
From her connection to the Grail War, it's clear she knows more than a bit about the world of magic, but to what extent remains unseen. Is she simply shy, or hiding a sinister secret? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT.

Simon Crowe, age 30, spent most of his life unremarkably enough. He is a Maine native, born to a logging family in a small town a few hours north of Highgate. When his father died when Simon was 13, he dropped out of school to take up his father's trade and support the rest of the family.
This continued until 1918, when the United States entered the war in Europe. Simon received his Selective Service draft letter in the mail. Having followed orders dutifully for most of his life, he saw no reason to object- especially since the military paycheck was considerably higher than anything he received logging. Simon was not particularly bright or brave, but he made a decent soldier, and after boot camp he was shipped off to fight in the Spring Offensive.
Exactly what happened to him in Europe is not something Simon enjoys talking about. When he returned, he was a different man; for one thing, he now walked with a limp and a cane, the result of a bullet wound to the leg that never properly healed. More than that, though, was the change in his spirit. Simon had never been a particularly cheerful boy, but after returning from the war he was downright morose: there was something haunted in his gaze. He would spend hours staring at nothing at all, brow furrowed, as though he were searching for something he couldn't find.
When his mother died in 1923 and his siblings moved away from Maine, Simon was left more or less alone. He was not married, and had no friends; eventually, he moved south to Highgate, drawn to the city for reasons he couldn't explain. Now Simon finds himself drawn into another war, one he doesn't fully understand- and yet, one he understands all too well.
