Welcome to the second half of Super Touhou Wars 2! It is now deep in the throes of spring. Not that you'd be able to tell by looking.



My full roster is now available, and is so huge that it doesn't fit on the screen!

Granted, the only one not on the screen is Kurumi, but still.



Nitori packs a whopping four special skills! They are Extending Arm + (Can use items after moving), Bond of Friendship (Faith spirit command cost reduced to 40), Support Attack (offensive support damage +20%), and Optical Camouflage (Automatically dodge 25% of attacks for 10 MP). I'm going with the last one.



Out in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, Mokou has a visitor! It is, of course, Keine.



Alice is here, too! Mokou isn't too happy about Keine letting more people know where she lives, but it's not a big deal.

The main point of the day is a matter of what month it is. Mokou seems to have lost track, but looking outside, it's pretty obvious that it's winter, right?

Wrong. It's spring.



Not only is it still cold, but it keeps getting colder. This is without a doubt another incident.

Keine and Alice are gathering allies, but Mokou just wants to leave this to the shrine maiden. Isn't incident resolution her job?



However, she ultimate agrees to go! She went along with Keine last time, after all, and that wasn't even a proper incident.

Everyone's meeting at the Hakurei Shrine.



At the Hakurei Shrine! It's still cold. Lots of people have gathered here.



Nitori's here from Youkai Mountain, and she brought Hina along. Minoriko and Shizuha showed up again.

Keine and Mokou are a bit late, but they get here eventually.



The situation, at least, is easy to understand: This is an incident. If it keeps going on like this, Gensokyo will be in danger. So, we're gonna fix it.

Let's get the hell going, then!

Chapter 26: Spring Snow

I was going whichever way felt right, but...

Nice view. With this much snow, there's no telling where the actual road is.

It's pretty much like this everywhere these days.

Yeah. It's dead quiet, and you can barely tell that anything's alive out here...

Fairies are embodiments of nature. Their mood could change along with the incident.

So the weather affects their health, kinda like catching a cold.
Cirno's a fairy, but she's just fine, of course.

What's that supposed to mean?

Something about how certain unspecified kinds of people can't catch colds.

Naw, I was just saying that 'cause she's an ice fairy.

Can we save the comedy routine for later? Theyre coming this way.





And so the epic battle of the Gensokyo Defense Force VS a bunch of stupid fairies commences!



There are some Evil Eyes mixed in here, too! Also a couple fuzzballs at the back.

The battle proceeds without difficulty.



Is it just me, or is it getting cold?

What are you talking about, it's been cold all day!

Yeah, but I feel like it's getting even colder...

Also, the Battle Mastery condition is to defeat Letty within three turns of her arrival. She arrived during an enemy turn, too, so I only have two left...





In other words, there's no time to waste! Ignore the remaining mooks, charge Letty!



The advantage of this situation is that I can go all-out right away, because this is gonna be a short-ass battle. Master Spark! Sakuya's World!



and Reimu gets the Spell Break on turn 1!

We were totally wrong! The winter youkai was not the one in charge. Or even tangentially related.

Cirno is busy musing about making Letty her underling.

Nope! She wants to help us resolve this incident! She may be a winter youkai, but an abnormally long winter isn't good for anyone. She wants to know who's behind this.

Reimu doesn't care either way, so in she goes.



As this unnatural snow spreads, the power of life is slowly fading from Gensokyo. We'd better solve this soon, or...
