BGM: Fishy Aroma

While Battler and Beatrice talk, one person is still fighting.

A gun in one hand, a gold ingot in the other. Trailing behind her, Maria.

Is there any point in shouting? Beatrice will come soon. And when she does, the door to the Golden Land will open.

In the study, Kinzo and Beatrice play chess. The game is reaching its climax.

Unfortunately, the game may never be finished. The time for the banquet is here.
And Beatrice will come with a new piece of furniture.

Kinzo and Genji leave the study. Beatrice will follow in short order.
Beatrice doesn't mind changing despite the presence of one more person in the room. After all, why feel shame at exposing yourself to furniture?

The furniture quietly obeys.

BGM: Black Lilliana
This is not a ball for humans. Most of the guests are goats.

Amidst great applause, and followed by her pitiful furniture, Beatrice joins the banquet.

The witch called Bernkastel only comments vaguely about Beatrice's new hobby before hiding behind her mask once more.
She's just mad that she lost.

Midnight strikes. The barrier between days, and worlds.
The Witch's Banquet begins.
The golden door opens.

The mansion of humans and the mansion of demons overlap.
Through the door comes an endless sea of demons.

In celebration, the goats gather around Kinzo.

The first dish is quickly erased. A true delicacy.

All that remains is for the furniture to submit.
It can't reply, possibly out of fear.

Beatrice isn't even looking at it as the goats close in.

The first course was a sorcerer.
The second was the witch's furniture.

BGM: Golden Slaughterer
Outside, Rosa and Maria still run to escape the witch.
Following them is an endless sea of butterflies and goats.

When one of them catches Maria, Rosa shows no hesitation. She strikes the goat in the head, the jaw, the chest, all before ramming her rifle down its throat.

The goat dies without understanding what happened.
However, more are coming.

Another four shots strike four goats, but they don't fall.

Even if they lose everything. Even if she has to become a demon. Even if she has to overcome hell itself.
Rosa will protect her only child.

A gold ingot used as a bludgeon. A ballpoint pen used as a dagger. A rifle reloaded by her daughter. Rosa uses every weapon at her disposal to crush the oncoming legion.

If she let go of the rifle, or let go of the gold, she could hold Maria's hand.

Still, she runs. She knows Rokkenjima's layout by heart, so she can sprint unafraid through the darkness.
She just needs to get to the beach. Then, she can leave this accursed island. Somehow.

Rosa falls down several stairs, breaking her ankle. The gold flies off into the darkness as she lets go of it.
In the distance, the goats are coming.

Rosa is brought back to the present by the sound of Maria's voice.

Despite all their hardships, the love between mother and daughter can't be broken.
There is only one Rosa, and only one Maria.

Holding Maria with one hand, and her rifle with the other, Rosa faces the advancing horde.
