Yeah not even close. Entire interview was in Japanese and job was expecting basically funcitonally complete native-level fluency in Japanese.

Basically my level of Japanese speaking, while pretty nice for my own purposes, isn't going to get my any kind of job, ever. Gotta stick to coding.

Well it's pooooossibly that some places might like the fact that you've heavily studied another language and hire you because of cultural awareness and knowledge of basic customs and phrases or somethin', but yeah we both have a ways to go before we can communicate fluently in Japanese and only Japanese with co-workers/clients on a daily basis, in a work environment no less.

You have coding, but I have no idea what I have other than Japanese ahaha...ha... orz what should i do what what
