Remilia infers from this news that these intruders aren't ordinary humans. This could get fun...
Remilia accuses Sakuya of being interested in those humans, but she denies it.

Sakuya asks that the rest be left to her, a request that Remilia grants. Kurumi cheers her on, but then wonders if Sakuya will be okay alone against someone who she, Koakuma and Patchouli couldn't beat. Remilia says she's 400 years too early to wonder about that.

Elly's back to life!
Not that she died, exactly.

Someone else is here! Remilia seems to know them. She boasts to the new person that now that Sakuya has taken action, it shall soon be Checkmate for the humans.

All this talk of Sakuya ends with the stranger interested in the battle. She takes Kurumi and Elly with her as she goes to observe...

We're here!
This place is distinctly bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.

Reimu and Marisa talk at length about how things get into Gensokyo from the outside world, Cirno tries to figure out how to steal the carpets, nobody's sure why Rumia is even still tagging along.

Keine tries to get Cirno to stop touching stuff in case it's dirty, but a newcomer tells her that there isn't anywhere dirty in this mansion. It's Sakuya!

All Sakuya sees here is some extra trash that needs taking out...


We meet again, GDF!
If we're an army, Cirno posits, Cirno is obviously the leader.

Sakuya thinks our luck's about to run out! We did good in getting all the way up past Patchouli, but we are, after all, only human.

As is probably apparent by now, Sakuya's power is to control time (and therefore space). Pretty damn impressive for someone who seems to be human!

But enough talk. Checkmate! She'll erase us from this mansion!

The plan: Rumia stays behind to take out the two at the bottom, and everyone else charges the hell out of Sakuya.

For now, let's deal with these shitty fairy maids!

These things are fragile, and don't do much damage, either. Really, they're doing me a favor by being here - make it easier to build Power and give me more score to spend on upgrades.

First wave clear!
From here, we have enemies in three directions.

CIRNO BEEEEEAM

With the enemy forces all converging on my position, the danmaku fields are getting unforgiving! I need to take out the originators fast.

First kill by Rumia down south! We now have secured a bomb.

More brutal danmaku areas, with three fields overlapping around Sakuya! We're almost there.
Come to think of it, let's scan Sakuya.

The ????? means she has over 9999 HP! We can't see it until she drops to the quadruple digits.
So... yeah, stronger than Patchouli. She also has special skills that give her a random chance to evade attacks, and make her immune to critical hits.

For now, we'll stay out of her maximum range and deal with subordinate maids!

Elly and Kurumi are back again! It's Team Ran Away.
They have a third person with them today. Who could it be?

As the music fades, Daiyousei feels an incredible power drawing nearer...

Some of the others feel the creeping terror, as well. Reimu, though, knows who it is, beyond a doubt...

Yuka Kazami
Species: Youkai
Ability: Control of flowers
Disposition: Unstoppable

Both Marisa and Alice recognize her at once. Marisa regards this as the worst possible scenario, and Alice really wishes that they'd never had to meet again.

Marisa points out that the mist should be an enemy of Yuka as well, but she just says that there are wonderful flowers that blossom in the darkness as well.

Sakuya would still prefer to do this one alone. Fortunately for all of us, Yuka has no intention of intervening in this battle! She simply wants to observe.

The people who know Yuka take this as a blessing, since it means she can be ignored. Yuka isn't an enemy we can fight.

We won't, of course.
Firstly because Kurumi + Elly = more points/EXP, and secondly because, our bonus condition?
Engage Yuka in battle at least once.

Next phase of the operation: Discreetly sneak around Sakuya to say hi to the old school youkai trio!

Progress is slow within the great danmaku field!

Now to begin beating the shit out of Yuka's bros.

Fortunately, Cirno's good at healing herself.

And that was with guarding!
If it had been a normal battle, that would've done over 3000 damage.
Also, the first time you engage Yuka, she uses Strike, which makes all her attacks for the next turn guaranteed to hit. Terrifying woman.

Okay, Elly defeated, Kurumi defeated, bonus condition met.
Next goal: GET EVERYONE OUT OF YUKA'S ATTACK RANGE.

After the long errand, Rumia's met up with us once again!

And thusly did we engage Yuka in battle and live to tell the tale.
Next: Taking down Sakuya!
