Let's Play Super Touhou Wars
<< | ^^ | >>

Favorite bonus for Sakuya!
She now has an ability that makes her not expend ammunition for one battle. Kind of lame, since I've never seen her come close to running out.
ONWARDS

As Sakuya reflects on the idea of living life as she sees fit, she is interrupted by Elly and Kurumi!

Elly wants to know whether or not Sakuya's been thinking about what Yuka said.
She says she's thinking about it right now, although unless I missed a cutscene, this conversation never happened on screen!

Anyway, Elly is off to trade shifts with Meiling, and is taking Kurumi with her, because she has nothing better to do.

Off they go, and in comes Meiling now that she's off duty! Let us put aside the question of whether or not she did her job properly out there.

Meiling heard that Sakuya might be leaving, and wants to talk to her about it in case she can get her to reconsider her exodus!
Sakuya points out that she hasn't actually said anything about leaving. She just hasn't thought until now that there might be a place for her beyond the walls of the mansion.
As Patchouli said, whether or not she remains is something she can decide for herself.

Sakuya wonders what the lady of the house thinks about the whole thing, while Meiling wonders what Sakuya thinks about it since it's her freakin' decision. Suddenly, Flandre!
Meiling suggests she go try out those books from outside that Remilia got her, Flan says she destroyed them because they were boring.

She's bored, and Marisa isn't around to play with her, so she's gonna watch Sakuya cook! Truly she is learning the subtleties of wasting time like a Touhou.

Oh god there's more of them.
And something just exploded in the lobby.

Flan is a little surprised that she was found out so quickly!
This may because of the huge ruckus she's raising in here.

Sakuya tells her to quiet down, Flandre says that she's just saying that because she's Remilia's dog. Can't she decide anything for her self?

Meiling suggests the groundbreaking idea of actually playing with Flandre! Joining the game, she fights a bat.

She is now surrounded by enemy!
Sakuya decides there's no point fighting it, and agrees to play with Flandre.

So!
Look who's in my party now.
Her only weapon is her hittin' stick right now, though.

Meiling is a pretty straightforward melee tank, although she's not near as badass as Flandre.
Bonus condition is Meiling reduced to 20 or less MP, but I don't think I'm gonna have time to get any more favorite bonuses, so eh.
LET'S GO

These enemies are not very strong!
Sakuya can take them out in one hit, Meiling in two.

Flandre can obliterate them in one hit, of course.

We are overall having an easier time with it than Flan expected!

More are coming out of the floor!
Of course it wouldn't be that easy.

Meiling is starting to take a pretty serious beating!

Seriously problematic! Stop swarming Meiling!
When my turn comes around again, I at least have a countermeasure.

MEILING USED GUTS
HP fully restored!

EVEN MORE SHOWED UP
Flandre, you deal with these ones.

WITH GUSTO, she says!

Bonus objective met!
From here, she'll just have to punch people in the face.

A fourth wave emerges!
Is this ever going to end?

Meiling and Sakuya are having to struggle a bit to keep up with the young mistress here.

As soon as we're in range, the enemies continue dogpiling Meiling.

Did somebody order some RIDICULOUS OVERKILL

And Flandre takes out the last one!

We finished!
Without destroying the mansion, even.

Flandre's had her fun, and is hungry now.
Next: Cake!

While the situation was dealt with, Sakuya still thinks that Meiling's decision was a little selfish an reckless.
Meiling says that Sakuya is always too caught up in her work, and really ought to think of her reason for staying in the mansion.

When Sakuya goes off to work and think some more, Meiling says to herself that she, at least, doesn't want her to leave...

SUDDENLY FLANDRE
She wants to play more.
Play play play.

When deciding what to play, Flandre settles on Horse Ride! Meiling, of course, being the horse.
Looks like it's going to be a long day...
