The sun rises on a new day. Kinzo is alive.

Is this because of his defenses, or just the luck of the draw? It's impossible to tell.



A human would check. However, Kinzo aims to be an existence that surpasses humanity, so he stays locked in the study.



Breakfast is being prepared in the mansion.



Gohda is alive. Genji is preparing the mansion for the morning, so it seems he is alive as well.

Genji divides the tasks of the morning with Shannon and Kanon, who are also alive.



It looks like last night's conference ended without incident... wait.

There is a memo in this room, bearing a single word.



In the guest house, the first signs of activity.



Rosa is alive.

Genji is waking her early. Has something happened?



It takes several repetitions before Rosa can understand what she's hearing.

She gets dressed, then immediately follows Genji to the chapel.



The weather hasn't let up at all.



In Kinzo's eyes, this was a sacred place, not to be approached unless needed.



Rosa is still confused. Only when she sees it herself can she make sense of Genji's words.



Rosa begins interrogating the servants at once.

Nobody knows who put this here. Shannon was the first to discover it, thanks to the message in the dining hall. Rosa doesn't recognize the handwriting on the memo as belonging to any of her siblings.

Kanon draws her attention to a message written in English underneath the circle.



Yesterday, someone did indeed say Happy Halloween to Maria. The same person who Maria claimed drew this very magic circle in her notebook.



Rosa goes to check on Maria. Then, she'll tell the others what's going on.

But first, she stops. Something is bothering her.



Why her?

Why not Krauss?



Krauss and Natsuhi are both missing.

Are they in the chapel?



The chapel door is locked. The Master Key won't open it, either.

Only one key exists, and it's missing.



The witch had said that the time to open Maria's envelope would soon come.

Is this that time?



In the room are four young people. Battler, Jessica, George, Maria. All alive.

That confirmed, she goes to find Maria's handbag.



Yup.

Ignoring Beatrice's request from the night before, Rosa tears open the envelope.



One guess what this is for.



Ignoring Genji's question, Rosa unlocks the door to the chapel.

The door opens.



Something is wrong here.

Where the altar should be, there is instead a table.



The table is decorated with pumpkins and black and orange ribbons. A true Halloween feast.



At the table are Krauss, Natsuhi, Eva, Hideyoshi, Rudolf, and Kyrie.

They're very still.



Of course they didn't respond.

How could they?



They won't be responding to anyone anymore.
