Let's Play Umineko, Episode 4 Scene 26: The White Witch
<< | ^^ | >>

Kasumi is almost delirious with laughter as she mocks Maria's final spell.

She doesn't.
Maria's world of happiness is erased.

There's no such thing as happiness. All you can do in life is enjoy the thrill of pushing your own pain onto other people and watching them suffer like you did.

Ange stands up.

Pushing around hatred isn't magic. It's a crime.
This is magic.

BGM: Dive to Emergency

She couldn't use them before because she was fueled by the cheap emotion of wanting to kill her classmates. Now she's fighting to protect Maria's world.
But still, there are eight people here. Using magic with that much toxin in the air is simply impossible.

The opposite of anti-magic toxin is faith.
Ange will believe in magic, in witches, in miracles. So, the Stakes have to do so, too.

One of the goons has pulled a gun on Ange. She tells him to go ahead and shoot.

He pulls the trigger.

In a rare display of initiative, Leviathan took the first shot.
One down.

The black witch is stunned. How could they materialize in front of this many people at once? How had they stopped a bullet?

This is true magic. The real deal.

Lucifer of Pride strikes next, bringing down another one. Belphegor follows up, killing another.

They don't have any magic power, so they can't even see the Stakes.

One of the surviving goons points a gun at Ange. Satan's next.

The black witch isn't real, but magic is.
Magic exists. Witches exist. They are the key to the door to a world full of happiness.

Beelzebub and Asmodeus take the next two.
Now it's just Ange and Kasumi.

Ange picks up a discarded gun, pointing it at Ange in terror.

Kasumi can still be freed from the curse of the black witch, but she needs to believe.
That which was list is lost. However, something new can be created to replace it.

A pitiable creature who was enslaved by the temptation of the black witch.

The last one is Mammon. Because they met, Ange was able to understand what magic is.

Sumadera's cage of flesh is shattered, and her soul is freed from the witch's curse.
It's all Ange can do for her.

All that's left is the black witch. It decides to show Ange some magic of its own.

What form would be best for destroying the witch ANGE?

BGM: Mirage Coordinator

Eva returns from hell for revenge. Ange doesn't seem too surprised - she always was that sort of person.

Even in death, Eva hasn't been released from her pain. How pitiable.

A massive whirlwind of anti-magic toxin engulfs Ange. She can no longer reach the Stakes.

Eva's rifle points at Ange's head, and her finger curls around the trigger.

Against all odds, it's a misfire.

It was Mammon's doing. She didn't strike Eva, she struck the rifle.

The fake magic of a black witch can't compare.

This is Mammon's final task as the witch's furniture.

The last magical battle of Rokkenjima comes to a close.

ANGE-Beatrice floats over the city below.
From nearby, polite applause.

ANGE is now a true witch. The final inheritor of the Mariage Sorciere.

She would like nothing more than to be able to leave Beatrice's world alone. But she can't. Not while her family is waiting for her.

Bernkastel freely admits it - she deceived ANGE. However, ANGE doesn't mind.
She's figured out how to take her family back.

A game piece doesn't need emotions. It gives everything it has to claim victory.

If Beatrice wins, ANGE will give her blessing.
