Let's Play!
Jun. 19th, 2009 11:09 amSo I was considering doing a Let's Play of The Ur-Quan Masters, stopped only by my lack of a mic and not being sure whether or not my computer can handle camstudio and UQM at the same time. Also talking is hard.
So, I'm gonna do an old school text-and-pictures Let's Play, and put it here in my livejournal! Conditions as follows:
-I am going to attempt to beat the game quickly and efficiently, trying to beat my last endgame date of August 31, 2158 by as great a margin as possible.
-However, I am still going to complete all the major sidequests in the game, so no skipping content.
-I will transcribe the more plot-relevant and/or entertaining conversations, because one of the best things about this game is the script.
-I will also go into some of the game's huge quantities of backstory as I go, because this is technically a sequel to Star Control, and thus expects a certain degree of familiarity with the setting.
I have my game path all planned out and it will cover eight loosely-defined chapters (well, seven and a brief prologue). The beefier chapters will cover multiple posts. I'll do the first probably later today!
